Using Rudgwick Lawn Tennis Club Facilities
The tennis club has four courts - two acrylic and two tarmac, all with top quality
floodlights. The club has spent a very large amount of money on the facilities during
recent years. In particular the tarmac courts and acrylic courts have been resurfaced.
the lights for the acrylic courts were also up-graded.
Please look after and respect the club facilities.
The courts are locked with combination padlocks. Following payment of your
subscription you will be notified of the number. For obvious reasons it is important
that the number is kept confidential - please therefore do not publicise it! The same
number will be used for the lock on the door of the tennis storage hut.
Please ensure that the courts and hut are locked after use.
The floodlights can be currently operated free of charge pending future review,
please ensure that you use them carefully and light only the court you need,
importantly please turn them off when you have finished!.
The clubhouse was opened in November 2006 and is fabulous. Whether or not you
have come off the courts why not enjoy a relaxing drink and the other facilities such
as snooker, pool, darts and Sky TV. Come and take part in the various events
organised by the Rudgwick Social Club see notice boards for details. Access to the
clubhouse requires an electronic key, for which a £5 deposit is payable - see the
subscription form. Electronic keys of existing members will be de-activated on 30
April if, by then, you have not renewed your subscription.
