Member Activities

Courts are available for use for all members at all times up to 10pm. However club sessions and matches take priority - see the Court Booking section of the website for more details of priorities. Members are encouraged to use the booking facility within the private member’s only section - all members have been given a membership number and password to be used for access to this area. Bookings made on the website will take priority over a member who turns up to play without booking.

Main "turn up and play" sessions
Mondays - 6.30pm onwards
Saturdays - 4pm to 6.30pm

Other "turn up and play" sessions
Thursdays - 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Sundays - 10am to 12.15pm
These are organised by James Burden who can be contacted re attendance.

Team’s match practice
Men’s Squad - Wednesdays 7pm onwards.

Junior Coaching
Mondays - 4pm to 6.30pm
Thursdays - 5.15pm to 7.15pm
Saturdays - 9am to 11am

In addition we play regular matches against other clubs in the Sussex League. These are generally on Sunday mornings, but occasionally at other times. Team captains will book courts in advance.

However, whilst you may use one of 2 spare courts if available during the above times [apart from Monday evening club session], if the top 2 acrylic courts are wet and unplayable, you will have to make way for the above club sessions, coaching, and matches.

Balls are provided free for all club sessions, but this is subject to a practical override regarding who turns up and whether they have club balls. With apologies, there may be situations when there is no alternative to the used balls that are kept in the tennis hut.
